Organically Hip™ was founded in 2008 by two friends who wanted to start a business doing something they loved.
We started out at local farmers' markets with baked goods, cookie mixes and our handmade vanilla extract. After only six months, Organically Hip™ went from local farm stands to the retail market!

Maria loves to cook, growing up in a traditional Italian family where her Mom made giant dinners big enough to feed an army. She is our head recipe tester, coming up with the ever-so-sinful microwavable brownie recipe that kids and college students covet. She keeps her best friend and business partner grounded and fed. She does some other stuff too, like ordering our ingredients, counting chocolate chips to make sure we weren't shorted, and making life convenient.
Angela also loves to cook, growing up with a father who was a professional chef and a mother who loved to experiment with different foods. Her mission in life is to obsess about all things until they are perfect. She is also in charge of making sure the tax police don't come knocking on the door, driving all over the place and keeping track of who has earned the right to be President for the week.
